A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

As a child, I grew up in a violent household.  Up until the day I moved out at 27 years old, I lived with chronic stress.  It negatively impacted my health.  Later in life, I was diagnosed with a myriad of health issues the first one was Bi-Polar disorder.  A few years later I was diagnosed with a Pituitary Gland Brain Tumor which did a number on my hormones.  I had three children in three years and the toddler years were incredibly stressful.  I spent most of my life on the diet rollercoaster, which led to an eating disorder, body Dysmorphic Disorder, panic attacks over food, and working out for three hours a day.

 The stress on my body was way too much.  I didn’t know what to do so I did nothing. One day I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Lupus, and I had to change everything I was doing. .  I had to incorporate daily self-care habits into my routine.

I had to learn how to listen to my body and rest, take breaks, learn to say no, learn to calm myself down, and stop trying to be perfect. 

Now I still suffer from Lupus and Bipolar disorder, but life is much better.  I learned many stress-controlling techniques and I am sharing them with you in this course.
